The Helen Chamber of Commerce is holding the 17th Annual Christkindlmarkt on November 30 & December 1 and December 7-8, 2024. The Christkindlmarkt is a traditional German event that offers everything from unique gifts and decorations to an assortment of savory and sweet foods, drinks and candied treats.
We would like to invite you to participate in the Christkindlmarkt. Setup will be announced. Visitors can enjoy the holiday atmosphere while visiting the Christkindlmarkt. It is to your advantage to have unique and quality merchandise to intrigue the visitors to shop at your booth.
Applications will be accepted at a date to be announced.
Only one booth will be assigned per vendor.
German-themed merchandise would be preferable, however, it is not mandatory. Not all items have to be German, however, maybe one or two items can be. Some examples might be dolls dressed in German clothes, items painted in a German motif, etc.
Merchandise must be handmade. Priority will be given to German-themed merchandise and handmade merchandise.
You must have enough inventory to carry you through both weekends! Helen is a busy tourist destination, especially during this time of year. Be sure you have enough inventory!
It is important to have an attractive area that is inviting to our visitors.
All booths must be a 10’ x 10’ white canopy tent. The City of Helen requires all tents to be white. No other color will be accepted.
Security is not provided during the event.
There is a minimal charge to participate as a vendor of $100.00 per booth.
Applications will be dated when they arrive at the Helen Chamber of Commerce. The Helen Chamber will review the applications with priority being given to German- themed items and handmade items.
Upon acceptance of your application, you are obligated for both weekends. Except for emergencies, if you do not show or leave early, you will not be invited back for future shows. You will be notified of the status of your application after (date to be announced).
If you are interested in participating, please complete the Christkindlmarkt application and return it between (dates to be announced) Be sure to include pictures of your merchandise with the application.
