I am in agreement with the standards and regulations for the festival listed in this application.  I will not hold the Greater Alpine Helen Area Chamber of or its officials liable for claims, injuries, cost of damages, or other liabilities which may result from my attending the 2008 Helen Trout Festival.

Booth Requirements

·         Each booth will be 10’ x 10’ and will be furnished with one 8’ x 2’ table and two chairs.

·         Exhibitors are allowed to bring signs that can be displayed from tabletops.  Backdrops and booth dividers will not be provided; however, you may bring your own if they are freestanding. Nothing may be hung from the ceiling.

·         Each booth must be self-contained and independently operated.

·         Reserving a booth for the festival means that an Exhibitor is agreeing to staff the booth during all scheduled Exhibitor hours during the event.

·         If you require electricity (based on layout & availability) – call for details.

·         Exhibitors are responsible for sales tax on all transactions.  Georgia Department of Revenue form FS-32 will be available upon arrival as a convenience.  The event is being held in White County which has a sales tax rate of 7%.

Set-Up/Tear Down

·         Set up and break down times will be enforced. No vehicles are allowed in the loading area before the closing time.

·         March 28, 2008 - Setup may begin as early as 12:00pm and must be completed by 4:00pm.

·         March 29, 2008 - Setup may begin as early as 8:00am and must be completed by 10:00am.

·         March 29, 2008 – Tear Down may begin as early as 4:00pm and must be completed by 6:00pm.

·         Exhibitors agree to be responsible for their own waste products.  All materials and trash must be removed from the Exhibitors booth area and taken to the dumpster.  Cardboard boxes must be broken down before being placed in dumpster. It is imperative that clean-up be thorough. Any vendor's assigned space left in disarray or with loose trash may forfeit their participation in any future festivals.

Weather

·         Exhibitor Booths will be in the Festhalle.  It is a covered outdoor area.  Please be prepared for inclement weather as there are no bad weather dates.

Parking

·         Parking will be assigned at exhibitor check-in.  Space for cargo trailers will be available but will not be adjacent to the Exhibitor Booths.
